Gistinger & Gistinger opened for business on October 23, 1975. For its first 30 years, the law firm was
made up of a husband-and-wife team, Mark W. Gistinger and Susan G. (Sue) Gistinger. Both are graduates
of Detroit College of Law. A general practice law firm, Mark and Sue have divided areas of the law between them, with Mark specializing in criminal law and contract matters while Sue worked in estate planning and administration, business entities, domestic relations/divorce and real property. In 2005, David Brown, a graduate of the University of Toledo School of Law, joined Gistinger & Gistinger as an associate attorney. With knowledge of and experience in a broad range of legal areas, David enhances Gistinger & Gistinger’s ability to serve its clients. Long time legal assistant, Julia Gregg, completes the Gistinger & Gistinger legal team.
